1) What is Cryogenic Lipolysis?
Cryogenic Lipolysis is non invasive method that cool down fat tissue below 0 degree celcius to induce destruction of fat cells without damage to other tissues. The destructed fat is progressively eliminated through natural metabolism. Once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good.
2) What are the advantages of Cryogenic Lypolysis over surgery such as liposuction?
There is no downtime; the procedure can be performed in the clinic setting and cost a lot less than the conventional surgical fat removal or liposuction. More importantly, it is not associated with any surgical and anesthetic risk and complications.
3) How is the treatment performed? Is it painful?
Protective membranes are securely placed followed by treatment applicators at the treatment areas. As the cooling begins during the first few minutes, you will feel pressure and intense cold. This soon dissipates. Many people read, watch videos, work on their laptop, or even take a nap during their treatment.
4) How fast can I see the result and how long does it last?
You may start to see improvement as early as 3 weeks after your treatment and will experience the most dramatic results after two months. Your body will still flush out fat cells and continue doing so for up to 4 to 6 months after treatment.
6) Are there any side effects?
You may experience deep pulling, pinching, numbness or discomfort during the treatment. Typical side effects include redness, swelling, bruising and stinging sensation. You should not have the procedure if you suffer from cryoglobulinemia or paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria.
